About Championship Comics
Once operating under the name, Area 51 Comics, Christian had changed the name when he finally ended up with his long term on and off again girlfriend, Erin. A movie they had shared in common, ‘High Fidelity’ featured a record shop called Championship Vinyl… thus Championship Comics was born!
Nothing has changed from how Area 51 Comics was run. Championship Comics still maintains a solid $1.00 comic stock, as well as 2, 3 and 5 dollar price points! As well as an ever growing selection of Silver and Bronze Age comics!
This summer will be ‘Have Comic Will Travel’! As Christian, Erin, Adam and the whole Championship Comics gang travel up and down the East Coast buying collections and as a dear friend of the business, L.J. once said, “Christian… Moves comics like grease!”
